Postcards from Floriade, Canberra

Floriade is said to be Australia’s biggest celebration of Spring, an annual event held at Canberra, Australia. Acres of land covered in gorgeous colors – Tulips, Poppies, Pansies and whole other bunch of flowers I had no idea about. This was my first time at the event and I am still dreamy-eyed after feasting my eyes on those delightful bunch of flora.

The event is open to everyone till Sunday 11 October 2015. No ticket fees, but  finding parking space can be a challenge.

Here I am presenting before you – The Tulip Postcard series.

  1. Your pictures make me want to hop a plane and come join the celebration of spring. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous. I adore tulips. All the colors in the shots are so eye catching.

  2. Truly a feast for the eyes and the soul. Captivating. I am in love with the tulips and the last two pics !

  4. There are times when adjectives just fail you… this is one of them. All I know is I just added a new place to my "places to visit before I die:" bucketlist.
