I was never a morning person. I mean if someone tried waking me at 8 they would most probably end up with an injury :P But times change. And strangely I have changed too.
The moment when the sun slowly rises above the horizon, drenching the world in stunning tangerine hues - it's bewitching. And it's this magic that wakes me up at 5 in the morning, drive for an hour along with my husband to catch the first light of daybreak.
As I have mentioned many times, Clovelly Beach is my favourite spot. Coogee Beach is just as beautiful, but very crowded, even before sunrise. Clovelly offers the quietude that I look for early in the morning. Plus the view from the cliff is magnificent!!
Also since not many people walk by, I can peacefully do Yoga and even get some shots taken by my husband.
Along with Claire, Parul and Shalini, we have formed an Unconventional Alliance with A to Z co-host Pam Margolis as the ring leader ... all set to rock the party

I love dawn at the beach! Once on vacation with friends, I was the only one to get up early to catch the sunrise, my friends slept in and missed one of the most beautiful sunrises I've ever seen :)

Beautiful shots, as always. The lens is really your friend.
ReplyDeleteI am even less of a fan of morning than you. I rarely get up for sunrise, and when I do, I get the photos then go back to sleep. That first photo is really magical.
ReplyDeleteYou hold the sun in your hand! Love your yoga shots, your hubby is very artistic. You are awesome too :)
ReplyDeleteThe first picture is really really amazing!
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing the sun rise for the first time, like seeing the complete phenomenon of dawn, during a school camp. I was in a bus, and everyone else was sleeping. The change of the colours, the brilliant orb of orange, the skies breaking into purple.. It was pure bliss! I'll never forget that moment.
I must wake up early tomorrow and watch the dawn! Thank you for sharing :)
You and your yoga and your shots..!! I envy you woman! I mean what else do you want on earth!
ReplyDeleteNot to mention the pictures are terrific and so are your poses :)
Cheers

ReplyDeleteI still am not a morning person! I hate mornings.
ReplyDeleteBut you, woman! The scenes are almost as pretty as you now :)
You never cease to amaze me, lady! Loved the pics.
ReplyDeleteBut no, I was and never will be a morning person :P
Beautiful photos! I rarely see the sunrise, as I'm not a morning person either. I have seen some over the years, before going to bed.☺
ReplyDeleteWow! no words. First one, stunning and your husband is such a patient guy. I need to get VT learn from him ;)
ReplyDeleteBlissful Morning. What better way to kick the body, stretching it to make the day worthwhile:)
