Travel Tales: Cherry Blossoms Canberra

Location: Tulips Top Garden, Canberra (Australia)
Open only from mid-Sept to mid-Oct every year

Smiling in inevitable. As soon as you step inside the flower laden gate, a wide irrepressible smile spreads across your face. Tulips of numerous varieties in hues as if stollen from a fairy tale, welcome you inside. Beware, because you would never wish to leave this place. The trees are covered in cherry blossoms, in bright happy colors – red, pink, blue, white, yellow. In fact, there are trees with flowers blooming in mixed colors too.

My September had never looked so pretty and magical. Inspite of a drizzle and slightly muddy pathways, I visited every row and appreciated each variety of flowers the Tulip Top Gardens had in store.
